5 ways to make extra money online
Who doesn’t like to have extra money coming in every month?
There are many ways out there to earn extra money, and some of them are not legit, that is why I am gonna share those ways I personally use to get some extra bucks.
This is a sponsored post that contains affiliate links
It is my favorite way of earning extra money. You can do surveys, watch videos, sign up for different offers, search the internet, and get some cash back while buying products online.
It is legit and easy to use. I don´t spend as much time as I should on this site, but I was able to get two amazon gift cards of $50, and a transfer of $25 to PayPal in a year. Not bad!
If you are more consistent with the site than I am, you could probably earn more in the long run.

2. Tutor online
If you are a native English speaker there are many ways of earning some extra bucks online by tutoring. In many sites, there is not teaching certificate requirements, however, if you do have a degree in Education your earnings can be higher.
You can also teach other languages or subjects, it is up to you!
3. Sell your clothes
How many times have you seen that same shirt hanging in your closet and wondered why did you buy it?
Sometimes I do, but I found a solution: I can make some money selling it to other people.
Remember “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
And it is very true.
If you are in the U.S check out these sites
You can request a bag and they will send it to you for free. You will put your clothes and send it back. They are a little picky with the brands so make sure you read their accepted brands list to make sure they will accept it.
Once they receive your bag, a team will review it and set up a price for each item. You will receive the money in your account and use it as credit to buy in the store, or you can request a transfer to your PayPal account (this option is only available on the website, not the app).
I sent a bag with 8 items and got $18 transfer to my PayPal account.😊
If they do not admit your clothes they will return it back to you at your request (you pay the shipping), or they will give it to a third-party seller to recycle them.
It is an app where you can sell and buy used clothes.
You don´t have to send it anywhere, you decide your own price and share pictures for prospective sellers.
People will look at your profile to see the clothes you are selling and they will make offers.
After that, you can decide if you want to sell your item or trade it for something the other person has in her or his virtual closet.
Once you have agreed with the seller, you just have to pack it, Poshmark will provide you with a pre-paid addressed label and you can drop off your package at any USPS office, mailbox or have it picked up at your place.
If you are in Spain take a look here:
- Wallapop: it is a great site to sell anything! Really anything! I have sold from clothing to books, and house decorations.
- Percentil, this site is like Thredup but in Spanish. Only available in Spain.
- Chicfy: Same as Poshmark, for Spain.
4. Sell used books
Selling books that you have read many times and are piling up on shelves or boxes is a good idea to make some money and declutter your house.
I recently moved back to Spain after 5 years in the U.S and I found boxes and more boxes left in the storage room full of textbooks and old books that I don´t want or need anymore, and they are taking a lot of space…
I did some research and sold them online and I was able to earn some extra bucks while cleaning up, not bad!
When I was in the U.S I used these websites to sell textbooks:
betterworldbooks.com: they offer free shipping worldwide!
If you are in Spain I recommend this app: Wallapop.
5.Use cash back sites
If you are into online shopping (who is not nowadays?) you should install the Ebates, Swagbucks and Beruby button in your browser.
What does it do?
When you are surfing the internet and you enter a site in which you will like to make a purchase, if that site is a partner of any of these cash back sites, you will get a percentage of your purchase back.
It is easy to install and easy to use. Every time you enter an affiliate website, a little window will pop out from the icon telling you how much you can get back if you decide to go ahead and buy something. You can’t use all the three cash back buttons at once, I know… bummer… so just pick the one that offers the most cash back for that site.
So, you are getting money for something you were going to buy anyways!
I use it on sites like Amazon and Sephora. I buy there a lot, and they offer free shipping if you exceed a specific amount or in Amazon´s case if you are premium, so it is a great deal! There is no need to leave my house to buy something and I get money back!
I think is a great way of getting some extra money for something you were going to do anyways!
